DUTIES: Develop software solutions for external clients based on detailed specifications from technology/system consultants. Responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation and analysis of modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and EMC products including XtremIO line of products. Develop and/or execute implementation according to project plans and priorities. Perform analysis and optimization tasks for performance, communication, integration and parallel thread execution for EMC products. Write functional detailed design specifications and respond to requirement documents and system level test plans. May be assigned to projects that focus on the following aspects of EMCs XtremIO product: Error Detection/Recovery, Load Balancing, Queuing, Scheduling, Synchronization, and debugging. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field. 24 months experience in job offered or computer related occupation. Experience must include: 1) RAID 1/RAID 6; 2) Flash Storage; 3) Storage Performance optimization; 4) Storage read and write caches 5) Storage background processes; 6) Distributed and Shared Memory systems; 7) Lazy Initialization of storage systems; 8) Multi-core processor systems; 9) Embedded systems; 10) Real-Time systems; 11) x86-64 instruction set architecture and assembly programming language; and 12) Thread Scheduler and Thread Synchronization. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
