DUTIES: Provide technical and consultative leadership for solutions opportunities on a range of complex engagements. Delivery of technical architectural design, strategies and plans for engagements. Serve as a technical expert in leading pre-sales meetings or presentations. Provides technical leadership during the implementation of proposal and engagement. Participate in installation, customization and integration of an EMC solution. Deliver projects with approved methodology while adhering to margin, planning and Scope of Work requirements. Lead project quality assurance activities, including technical QA reviews. Design and implement disaster recovery process and business continuity procedures for re-establishing servers, databases, and operating systems in the event of a disruption, both minor and catastrophic. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field. 24 months experience in job offered or computer related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Greenplum Database Administration, Installation Upgradation and Migrations; 2) Greenplum Database Design and Modeling; 3) Greenplum Database Backup and Recovery; 4) Greenplum Database Performance Tuning and Query Optimization Techniques; 5) Gemfire; and 6) HAWQ. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
