DUTIES: Develop and maintain a reliable and comprehensive automation test infrastructure. Engineer tools, scripts, framework and environments for test and data management and rapid scaling of new features and customer needs. Conduct a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards, end-user requirements and serviceability standards. Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action. Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Perform development and execution of software quality methods and processes. Select testing specifications for new products and ensure testing procedures are in compliance with industry specific standards.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field plus 24 months experience in job offered or computer related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Designing, implementing, and maintaining a test framework environment in Perl, Java and C#; 2) Automated testing of APIs in SOAP/REST model; 3) Performing Perl or Shell Scripting in open systems and JCL in mainframe environment; 4) Developing and improving inspection or test techniques; 5) Developing and executing Load, Stress, Performance & Web services testing; 6) Developing and executing test cases and testing methodology for manual and/or automated tests utilizing Server side Automation framework and GUI automation tools; 7) Defining functional and non-functional requirements, identifying gaps, assessing capability, and documenting risks; and 8) Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies (Rally Scrum planning tool, Quality Center, and Remedy Defect Management tool). Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
