Position Title:
Advanced Lawn Care Technician
Position Overview
The Advanced Lawn Care Technician is a self starter, career minded individual. You will be responsible for providing professional turf and or shrub treatments on residential and commercial properties. This candidate must have an eye for detail and be able to deliver the highest level of quality while performing various services on customer's property.
Essential Responsibilities
Enforce State safety regulations.
Ensure that all work is completed on time and on budget
Communicates with Account Manager regarding elements of each property on a daily basis.
Ability to work in all weather conditions (Rain or Shine)
Calibrate both ride on spreader and liquid tank to apply the proper amount of fertilizer.
Perform Integrated Pest Management (IPM) using mechanical, organic and chemical controls.
Must be able to diagnose various turf disease, insect and weed problems.
Monitor lawn quality to ensure we meet or exceed customer's satisfaction.
Proper use of Herbicide and Fertilizer as needed.
Carrying out all tasks assigned to you by your Account Manager in a thorough manner.
Maintain a clean-safe work environment including worksite and equipment being used.
Ensures that company vehicle and trailer are kept clean at all times.
Notifies Fleet Manager of any issues with equipment.
Fills out daily paperwork with products used, pests treated and rates for each property.
Works as a team member.
This is a year round position with the expectations that you will manage a crew or site in the winter months in the Snow Removal Operation.
Technician will be responsible for off season training to keep up with required credits and staying abreast of new products and equipment.
3-5 years experience as a fertilizer applicator

years experience on commercial properties.
Valid driver's license
Valid DOT Health Card.
Valid Mass. Cat 37 Pesticide License
Ability to work 40
hours per week with work on Saturdays.
Possesses basic math skills to calculate proper mixing ratios with chemicals.
Work Environment
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 75 pounds.
Job Site Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and or humid conditions, hot and cold temperatures, moving equipment and vehicles and pedestrians.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
