Duties:
Develop strategies, policies, best practices through leadership collaboration and technical community contributions. Provide input into product and solution owners on the development of new capabilities. Provide feedback on field experience with products and solutions. Develop business cases for investment in tools, solutions and offerings. Manage design and implementation of complementary technologies during deployment. Develop business cases for consulting investment in strategic solutions development. Collaborate with change management systems and architectural standards. Prepare, maintain and submit activity/progress and time management reports. Manage and assure solution quality. Support design and development of the technical architectural content. Develop complex SOWs and negotiate scope. Design solutions and participate in installation, customization and integration across projects. Prepare technical architecture and implementation design documents. Work with project manager to develop implementation plans, deliverables and schedules. Identify and leverage resources to satisfy technical needs and objectives of implementation. Lead pre-sales life cycle, qualification, pitch preparation/delivery, customer visioning, solution estimation, and SOW preparation. Develop programming source code, configure advanced technology solutions and/or integrate solution architectures. Establish strategic solution architecture and vision for solution delivery and optimal technical project approach for delivery. Provide hands-on implementation, testing, performance analysis and troubleshooting. Provide cover off-hours on-call to provide technical solutions. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Requirements:
Employer will accept Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or 3 years of work experience in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Database experience; 2) SAN; 3) Technical Storage; 4) Virtualization; 5) Customer facing technical support; 6) Networking. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
