Investor Relations and Business Analysis Manager

Job Duties: Act as management representation of EMC for all stakeholders. Understand and synthesize the requirements, technologies, products, roadmaps and businesses EMC owns, acquires or with which it competes. Operate as the IR technical expert on all relevant IT market developments/trends and hardware and software technologies and products. Provide analysis of competitors strategy, technology and products and provide relevant comparisons with EMCs business. Communicate results of analysis internally or externally as needed. Consult with EMC management, business/product units and corporate marketing on strategy, technology direction, product development and competitive positioning. Work to help educate the investor audience on EMC technologies and products within the context of the corporate strategy and operations.
Job Requirements: Bachelors degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Computer Science or relevant field such as Computer Engineering or Information Systems plus 5 years of post-degree progressive experience with all of the following: designing storage systems and microcode/features; architecting and developing software including GUIs and operating systems; developing and implementing information storage and management infrastructure and technologies; working with block and file data storage requirements and capabilities; working with data transfer protocols/architectures including SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI; and developing and implementing EMC storage hardware and software products and technology. Included within this experience above, must have at least 1 year of experience functioning as a Team or Project Lead. Domestic and international travel required 2-3 times per quarter.
