JOB DUTIES: Lead software quality testing efforts for EMC product features. Administer established practices and identify enhancements or modifications to existing operating procedures for software quality testing. Author and execute tests, using defined methodologies for manual and automated tests. Isolate, reproduce and track bugs and verify fixes. Document test efforts, test results and manage and maintain defect and test case databases to assist in continuous improvement and modification of EMC software. Create and maintain test environments and configurations to meet test cases or problem recreation requirements. Coordinate resolution of lab resource requirements by liaising between engineering and lab teams. Assist in the assessment and planning of test efforts required for new functionality/features under development. May be assigned to projects that utilize vSphere, vCenter, ESX/ESXi, VMs, Eclipse, Subversion, Agile development environment, and VersionOne.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field and 24 months experience in job offered or computer related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Symmetrix, 2) Clariion, 3) EMC Common Object Model, 4) Solutions Enabler, 5) EMC SMI-S provider, 6) vBlock, 7) TestNG. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
EOE.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
