DUTIES: Reporting directly to the Vice President, the Storage Managed Services. Responsible for setting vision and strategically drives mentors and leads the field practices in the area of the Storage Managed Services strategy and offerings, with oversight to both business development and delivery. Set sales and delivery capabilities, strategy and overall performance and execution of business plan. Work closely with sales and delivery teams to coordinate and conduct the delivery of detailed Storage Managed Services solutions inclusive of EMC's Managed Services and Utility offerings. Drive and set strategy of the value proposition development process for prospective clients to include requests for information, proposal and presentation development, as well as developing and maintaining sales content for use in business development activities. Overall responsibility for the deployment and inspection of Global Practice standards, policies and procedures. Act as leader on large accounts that affect the organizations long term goals and objectives. Leadership ability to develop a common point-of-view through collaboration across demanding functional organizations is a must. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field. 96 months experience in job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept One year in the job offered will substitute for one year of education toward a bachelors degree and 6 years of experience in job offered or related occupation. Experience must include: 1) 6 Sigma process re-engineering (6 Sigma Process engineering, Process management and Efficiency planning), 2) Audit Management /Asset management, 3) Budget management/ Financial performance management, 4) Building organizational capability, 5) Business Controls management, 6) Business Operations management, 7) Communications management, 8) Contract negotiation, 9) New Business Review & Sign off/ New Business engagement and management, 10) Global solution delivery, 11) Global Technology deployment, 12) IT Transition, 13) Vendor management, and 14) Transformation Efficiency planning & management/ Data migration & management. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
