DUTIES: Drives direction and definition of products lines through product requirements. Communicates to Product Marketing and Engineering the product line vision, value proposition, and functionality. Responsible for the end to end business of a product line and/or a product family. Creates first, best content which describes and communicates product value, vision and product roadmap for customers, analysts, and internal EMC audiences. Executes product strategy associated with a product line and/or product family. Understands the competitive ecosystem. Supports senior staff with research, development, and presentation of new product concepts to gain timely management approval and handling of issues for product feature/function set. Drives solutions across development teams (primarily Engineering Development and Marketing) through Product requirements, product contract, and positioning. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field. 24 months experience in job offered or computer related occupation. Education or experience must include: 1) VMware ESX/ESXi, 2) System Center, 3) PowerShell, 4) Storage Protocols, 5) CIFS/NFS and 6) SAN/NAS. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
