Perform daily storage monitoring, management, and operation of the storage infrastructure as required by residency service contract and service level agreement between EMC and clients. Provide technical and business consultative services during the post-sales cycle. Work with Storage Management Services team for their day to day activities. Manage the storage environment design. Implement new storage hardware and perform code/environment upgrades. Provision, decommission, monitor, troubleshoot, and handle work requests to ensure task completion. Provide weekly updates and project status reports to client and EMC personnel. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field, followed by seven years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation or a Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field and four years of experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Implementation and administration of EMC Symmetrix, DMX, VMAX and ClARiiON series; 2) Implementation of remote replication such as SRDF, Mirrorview, and local replication tools such as Time Finder/BCV, Clones, Snap; 3) Data Migration tools such EMC Open Replicator, SanCopy, Open Migrator, and LVM; 4) Host based migration technologies such as Robocopy, EMCopy, and Powerpath Migration Enabler (PPME); 5) EMC multipathing software; 6) C, C++, Perl and Shell Scripting. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
