Senior Network Engineer

Our client a leader in virtualization, storage, and server technologies is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their team.
Required Skills:
- Cisco Wireless experience- including RF testing, SSID, and encryption
- Active Directory- including Powershell, Exchange, and Microsoft 365
Job Description (project description and day to day responsibilities):
Employee will act as a Sr. Engineer performing advanced troubleshooting and installation work on various computer and networking hardware and software.
Essential Functions:
Advanced hardware configuration of servers, SANS, routers and switches and Operating Systems
Be an escalation point for Engineers and Technicians
Have advanced trouble shooting skills, ability to perform remediation repairs and direct activities of engineers and technician on a project
Escalate to issues to other team members as needed
Serve the Customer to client standards
Provide deployment and implementation services of multi-vendor solutions in a Data Center environment
Be available to meet the customers IT needs
Top Skills (top technical skills needed to be successful in role and how are they used / Will be noted in the candidate submittal write-up / If we find this they will hire):
CISCO or Aerohive wireless experience (For example: RF experience, SSID and encryption)
Active Directory (For example: Powershell, exchange and Microsoft 365)
Nice to have's for future projects:
VMWare
Storage experience (For example: EMC, Dell, HP and Net App)
Security experience - specifically RSA token experience
Soft skills:
Ability to walk into different client sites/environments and quickly get up to speed
Looking for more of a generalist background opposed to someone that is hyper specialized
Must have solid written and verbal communication skills - will be speaking/meeting with clients
100% OK with traveling to different sites on a very consistent basis. Able to expense mileage.
Ability to work independently
Ability to work on multiple project at that same time
