DUTIES: Provide operational support and guidance to customers to support the management and use of EMC storage solutions. Responsible for performing a wide variety of daily storage management tasks as well as providing recommendations for effective and efficient storage system use. Considered an expert in the implementation and use of EMC storage solutions. Responsible for performing daily operational tasks such as storage provisioning and maintaining availability at the customer site(s). Provisions storage based on standardized procedures as outlined by EMC best practice documentation. Participates in the execution of the business continuance and disaster recovery plans as agreed upon by EMC and the customer. Participates in the design and operational execution of the customer's storage disaster recovery process as required. Performs necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with EMC and customer's change management policies. May be required to support and instruct less experienced co-workers, through classroom training sessions or on-the-job mentoring. May be assigned to projects that utilize Tivoli Storage Manager, Data Domain, Avamar, Networker, Data Protection Advisor, Netapps, Atmos, Centerra, and Virtual Tape Library. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree in Comp. Sci., Eng.(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field. 24 months experience in job offered or computer-related occupation or Student (projects). Education or experience must include: 1) Tivoli Storage Manager, 2) EMC Data Domain, 3) EMC Avamar, 4) EMC VTL, 5) IBM 3580 Tape Library, 6) NAS Celerra, and 7) STK enterprise tape libraries with ACSLS. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
