Job Description:
We are looking for a Drug Discovery Reagents Technical Writer to be part of Client's Commercial team. This role will specialize in creating clear and concise documentation related to Client's immunoassay portfolio to support the needs and requests of the USCAN Commercial sales team. Your work will contribute to the overall success of our products by creating informative and impactful scientific pieces to drive customer awareness and education of our Drug Discovery Reagents. The candidate should understand customer needs in the drug discovery process and in therapeutic-area research. We are looking for a team player with exceptional communication and organizational skills, who is able to communicate complex topics clearly, concisely, and effectively. This role is remote and home-based within the United States. What We Provide:

The Discovery Reagents Team Client Discovery Reagents team services the Pharmaceutical, Academic, Biotechnology, and CRO end markets. Solutions include AlphaLISA, AlphaLISA SureFire Ultra, TR-FRET, and DELFIA immunoassays. The team also provides a wide array of microplates and Luciferase reagents. These products are used across a wide range of therapeutic areas such as oncology, neuroscience, inflammation, and metabolic research.
Responsibilities:
Research:
Leveraging published pieces and peer-reviewed articles to understand, apply, and position Client's immunoassay products as innovative solutions. Collaborate:
Collaborate with subject-matter experts to gather technical reports, data, and details for our products, competitors, and applications for the life science industry. Attention to Detail:
Ability to deliver high-quality documentation with meticulous attention to detail. Documentation:
Produce high quality documentation adhering to brand standards, and ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency in all written material. Documentation types will range from Technical Notes, Application Notes, Brochures, Scientific Posters / Abstracts, social media content creation, etc. Technical Grasp:
Quickly understand complex scientific concepts / data and translate them into clear, understandable text and visuals. Preferred
Qualifications:
3
years in a laboratory setting performing drug discovery research, high-throughput screening, immunoassays and assay development, and a focus on microplate-based applications. Prior commercial experience is a plus, but not mandatory (alternative experience may include Field Applications, Laboratory, Project/Product management, Marketing, or other functions in the Life Science industry). Strong communication skills, including writing emails (internal/external), effective communication in person and on the phone with a variety of personality types, and document writing. Ability to work well cross-functionally and with a variety of business functions. Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Well organized, stress-resistant, and versatile. Computer Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with assay data analysis and graphing software (Graphpad Prism).
