Senior Software Engineer (C#)

PerkinElmer's in vivo imaging group does incredibly important work supporting research across disease models for cancer & cardiopulmonary, metabolic, and infectious disease. The R&D team is an interdisciplinary group that develops market leading products, instrumentation, software, and reagents that drive innovation. The technology is amazing - 2D & 3D reconstruction and visualization of luminescence, fluorescence, x-ray & ultrasound. The labs are located in Hopkinton MA at the junction of 90 & 495.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the design, development, testing, and delivery of a new generation of in vivo imaging instrument software C# coding of multiple aspects of application development - services, components, algorithm implementation and optimization Unit Test Creation Use source control and issue tracking systems such as GitHub, Azure Dev Ops, Jira Follow the Software Development Life Cycle from design through implementation Work as a strong independent contributor within a team in an Agile Development Process
Qualifications:
Requires a BS/BA in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Math. 5
years' experience producing professional software 2
years' in C# 1
years' working in an Agile Scrum environment Preferred Skills:
Experience with image processing toolkits such as OpenCV or OpenInventor Experience in either Python, C or C+
Experience programming for reactive systems Understanding of the CQRS design pattern Knowledge of, or experience with, event sourcing Experience with WPF Experience with instrument control software Experience with scientific computing
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
